Very cool place with friendly staff. Outdoor area was very nice and the Owners son was awesome at taking care of everything.
We will be back! -

The Stave is a perfect venue for a evening outdoors with some live musicians. Comfortable little patio spots that are spread out nicely. There is no table service, but a bar off to the side that you place your orders and someone brings to your table.
The staff is very friendly and great. The drinks are pretty good and they have a decent wine selection.
I really enjoyed my time here and will be back for many more visits. -

We went to The Stave as a fun weekend evening ring to do with friends. We've seen it numerous times driving through Papillion downtown and have always wondered about it.
It's a great outdoor space attached to the Cheesehouse. It's open in the evening and trying to get a reservation through the phone number wasn't easy. Apparently, you either leave a voice mail or contact them via their Facebook page. Since we didn't know this, we arrived minute after opening to snag a table for our group of nine.
After sitting at a large table for about five minutes, a worker came up with a reserved sign and politely asked us to move. Now it's not this girls fault, but how can you Reserve a table *after* folks have already sat down at it? This is when we were schooled in the methods of securing a reservation. She was nice enough to help find another table (which involved moving the garden furniture type tables and chairs around the lawn) and even produced a little Reserved sign for us. This is why I dinged them a star: if you're going to reserve tables before opening, don't let people just wander into the space before placing the signs. Maybe do this *before*?
Otherwise, the charcuterie boards are gigantic (see picture), delicious and perfect for big parties. The liquor choices are limited, but if you like beers you'll be happy with the wide assortment. My OCD nature would prefer more and uniform tables and chairs vice the hodgepodge menagerie in place now, but I'll get over it.
We'll be back...just after using Facebook next time! -

After years of driving by with the ignition of one day stopping in, one evening on a whim we finally did. The outdoor facilities are was cleaverly tucked away from the main street traffic, with plenty of seating under un relay or large trees, a water feature, outdoor bar area, and a live music stage. We ordered a couple glasses of wine and a charcuterie plate, all of which were delightful.

I've been here quite a few times and it is always great! I've gone for girls nights and date nights. Always a great experience. The live music is great and so is the staff. Charcuterie is to DIE for! Never have had a bad item. Wine selection is awesome and beer for the gents (or ladies who prefer). The patio is great in the summertime. My husband and I went last night in a snow storm and they stayed open for us to come and enjoy some fondue. It was awesome! I recommend this place to anyone! Cheers!
